Job summary

RPM Industrial Coatings Group in Hudson, NC is seeking a 3rd Shift Vat Washer to clean interior of batch processing tanks and vats, remove residue left after batches are filled, and maintain wash drums and solvents.

The role offers From $18.00 per hour with a $1,000 sign-on bonus, night shift differential, and a benefits package including 401(k), health and dental insurance, paid time off, and tuition reimbursement. Candidates must pass a background check and drug test to qualify.

Qualifications

• Background check and drug test required.

Responsibilities

• Drain tank/vat of remaining batch material
• Scrape and scrub interior to remove residue
• Use cleaning solvent to clean tank/vat
• Remove residue and cleaning solvent from tank/vat with squeegees, pump and/or suction hoses
• Dry tank/vat
• Inspect tank/vat for contamination before use
• Empty used cleaning solvent into the used wash drum
• Maintain used wash drum area by tracking wash in drum
• Label empty wash drums for reuse
• Maintain log of used cleaning solvents
• Assist in filling area as needed
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area
