Job summary

King & Prince Seafood Corporation is seeking a Material Handler / Pack Operator to join the 3rd shift (11pm-7am, Sunday to Thursday) in Indiana. Responsibilities include delivering materials, clearing jams, operating packaging equipment, and supporting line relief for breaks.

Must perform Operations Level 2 tasks, communicate effectively in English, and adhere to GMP/PPE policies. Lift up to 60 pounds and stand up to 10 hours as part of daily duties.

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to the production lines and clear jams in packaging equipment.
• Hauler supplies raw materials to Production Lines per food safety requirements.
• Ensure frozen blocks are de-mastered, tempered and transported per procedures.
• Operate and clear jams on packaging equipment.
• Relieve line positions for breaks and perform block opening, cutting, culling, bag inspection, palletizing and trimming tasks

Job description

Hourly Rate: $25.75-$26.75 employees with less than 1 year of service will follow the planned incremental increases

Shift: 3rd shift 11pm-7am, Sunday to Thursday

Position Summary:

This position will be required to perform the following tasks: Material Handler, Pack Operator / Floor and Hauler positions

Areas Of Responsibility

• Material Handler Deliver materials to the production lines, as well as clearing jams in packaging equipment as needed.
• Hauler Supplies raw materials and quantities to the Production Lines in accordance with food safety requirements.
• MW Hauler Ensure that frozen blocks needed in support of retail production lines are de-mastered, tempered and transported in accordance with Gorton’s procedures and food safety requirements.
• Pack Operator/ Floor Operating and clearing jams in various pieces of packaging equipment.
• Breaker/Cleanup Relieve the following line positions for breaks and successfully perform these rolls: block opening, cutter, raw and cooked culler, bag inspector, palletizer and Trim Collection
