Job summary

Welch Packaging in York County, PA, is seeking dependable and motivated individuals for a full-time 3rd shift production role. You will work in a manufacturing environment following safety procedures and quality processes to meet targeted build rates.

You will assemble, stack, wrap, label and tape boxes, maintain housekeeping, and collaborate with the plant team to ensure 100% on-time delivery and adherence to specifications.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in a manufacturing/production environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication.
• Ability to work safely adhering to all safety processes and policies.

Responsibilities

• Follow proper safety procedures and processes.
• Ensure the product built is to spec and 100% accurate.
• Maintain the highest level of productivity for 100% on-time delivery.
• Maintain plant housekeeping standards.
• Work as a team with all facility members.
• Assemble, stack, wrap, staple, glue, sticker, and tape boxes.

Essential Functions

• Follow proper safety procedures and processes


• Responsible for ensuring the product being built is built to spec and 100% accurate


• Responsible for maintaining the highest level of productivity to ensure 100% on time delivery to our customers.


• Responsible for maintaining the housekeeping standards of the plant


• Responsible for working as a team with all team members of the facility.


• Day to day responsibilities may include some or all of the following assembling, stacking, wrapping, stapling, gluing, stickering, and taping boxes.

Requirements/Qualifications

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Experience

• 1+ years in a manufacturing/production environment
