Job summary

SecTek, Inc. is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer (COC) for a full-time 3rd shift position in Washington, DC. The officer will protect personnel and property, greet and screen visitors, and respond to emergencies with CPR/AED as needed.

Qualifications include at least a high school diploma or equivalent, active DC SO/SPO, and the ability to work a flexible schedule. Prior unarmed security experience is preferred; U.S. citizenship and a valid Social Security card are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in professional security providing customer service and communication.
• Ability to protect personnel and property and report incidents.
• Familiarity with building layouts and emergency routes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Protect personnel and property in a professional manner.
• Meet and deal tactfully with the public and visitors.
• Screen and process visitors efficiently and courteously.
• Identify, report, delay, or detain rule-violating individuals.
• Conduct roving patrols inside and outside the property.
• Complete all required reports and paperwork.
