Sonoco is seeking a detail‑oriented Shipper/Receiver I in Portland, IN. You will move product from the production line to the warehouse, emphasizing safety, accuracy, and efficiency during the 3rd shift (11:00pm–7:30am).

The role requires warehouse experience, a practical problem‑solving mindset, and strong communication skills to coordinate with multiple teams and complete inventory tasks.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing & warehouse experience preferred.
• Get it done attitude with urgency to resolve tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read and understand shop orders and job instructions.
• Must be able to push, pull, lift up to 49 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety as the top priority and follow 5S standards.
• Move product from production line to warehouse swiftly and safely.
• Collaborate with other departments and teams.
• Monitor quality and report any defects.
