Newell Brands in Victorville, CA is seeking a Sr Distribution Supervisor to oversee shipping operations on a 24/7 shift. You will coach a team of hourly distribution associates, drive safety, and ensure compliance with regulations while meeting internal and external customer expectations.

You will lead process improvements, manage KPIs, and collaborate with HR on talent development and performance management. The role requires hands-on leadership and a strong focus on efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Requires HS diploma; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1-4 years distribution supervision experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Experience with lean distribution including 6S and Gemba.
• Ability to manage projects outside normal duties.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Team oriented and able to follow directions.

Primary Purpose of Position:

The Sr Distribution Supervisor will oversee shipping operations during their shift for a 24/7 distribution center. You’ll coachand mentor a team of hourly distribution associates to meet business goals, while continually looking for ways to improve processes to meet internal and external customer expectations. You’re a Champion for safety, providing a safeand controlled work environment for distribution personnel while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and localregulations.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support, direction and guidance to processes ensuring internal and external demands are met.
• Lead and develop a team, coach, and make decisions related to talent management, hiring, performance anddisciplinary actions. While working in partnership with HR.
• Assist in the identification and implementation of continuous improvement opportunities and customer satisfactionopportunities for the area or department.
• Evaluate and manage equipment, systems, and facility to improve efficiencies and workflow. Develop plans forresource utilization.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Identifies discrepancies as they arise, uses problemsolving abilities to investigate deviations and complaints.
• Manage KPIs, payroll accuracy, and performance appraisals.
• Prioritizes work assignments and handles multiple tasks to ensure all distribution assigned tasks are completed asscheduled.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership to support the overall needs of the team and company.

Qualifications:

Physical Requirements:

• Standing and walking approximately 90 (ninety) percent of work time.
• Ability to work overtime or occasionally on weekends with short notice.
• Willingness to work all/any shifts.
• Typical plant/manufacturing environment with concrete floors and moving equipment.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.

"The California base pay range for this position is from $77,440 to $106,480. Salary will be based on prior experience related to the skills required for this position."
