Job summary

L.L.Bean is seeking a Security Officer on the 3rd shift in Freeport to protect employees, facilities, and assets. The role includes patrols, access control with metal detectors, and incident reporting while maintaining safety protocols and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities cover emergencies, evacuations, camera monitoring, and collaboration with management. Requires a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years of experience preferred, and a valid driver’s license with a clean record.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Must pass L.L.Bean background check.
• Strong computer skills including SharePoint, OneNote, Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent writing, communication, and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Responds to emergencies and life/safety situations as directed by management and Central Security.
• Conducts security patrols, access control, and bag checks to prevent unauthorized items.
• monitors cameras and reports incidents; assists with evacuations and safety protocols.
• Provides customer service and back-up support during disruptive situations or events.
• Maintains incident reports, logs, and daily station records for management review.
