Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Patrol premises and monitor access points; inspect buildings, equipment and vehicles.
• Direct vehicle/employee/visitor traffic flow and manage truck arrivals.
• Prepare visitor passes and log visitor details; document observations and incidents.
• Complete reports by recording information and interviewing witnesses.
• Operate surveillance equipment and coordinate with other departments as needed.
• Maintain building controls and ensure safety/compliance on site.

Job Description:

Having the mindset of SAFETY FIRST for all our employees. Observing and reporting abnormal activities then taking the appropriate action. Responsible for the protection, safeguarding and security of assets, personnel, customers and all visitors of the organization.

Duties/Essential Functions

• Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry


• Uses good judgement and obtains help by sounding alarms and calling 911 as needed


• Prevents losses and damage by observing and reporting irregularities; informing appropriate management and staff of policy violations, and procedures


• Direct vehicle/employee/visitor traffic flow as needed; managing truck drivers as they arrive on site.


• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses, obtaining signatures and managing surveillance technology appropriately


• Maintains environment by monitoring and setting building and equipment controls


• Maintains organization's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements and handling responsibilities while refraining from physical contact with others


• Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; evaluating and learning new equipment and techniques


• Contributes to team effort by coordinating and communicating with other departments


• Prepare visitor passes and log, record the time, dates and other details of visitors


• Ensure that all employee parking rules are adhered to


• Utilize technology and MS Office to read, record and maintain data

Job Requirements:
