Job summary

Daimler Truck North America in Byesville, OH is hiring a 3rd Shift Reclaim - Machining Tech to set up and operate CNC equipment that mills, punches, and drills metal parts. The role supports HAAS, Cincinnati, and vertical/horizontal lathes to machine small components and ensure quality.

You will train to read gauges and follow procedures. The ideal candidate has CNC certificate experience, is able to read work instructions, and can work overtime.

Qualifications

• Must be capable of repetitive hand manipulation and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Must read and understand Work Station Instructions.
• CNC certificate preferred; must be obtained within 6 months if not held.
• Experience in automotive/trucking manufacturing is a plus.
• Willing to work overtime when necessary.

The successful candidate will be required to set up and operate CNC machinery that automatically mills, punches, and drills metal parts. Primary tasks performed include operating HAAS, Cincinnati, Vertical Horizontal Lathes, machining small components, operating other CNC Machines as needed.
