Job summary

nVent in Anoka, MN is seeking a Quality Inspector for the 3rd shift. You will perform comprehensive product inspections, using gauges and tools to verify conformance and to support our strict quality processes.

You will identify non-conforming products, initiate NCRs, and ensure no active NCRs before inspections, while collaborating with operations to meet departmental goals. A high school diploma and 1 year in quality are preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• 1 year of quality process experience preferred.
• Experience with Quality Management Systems preferred.
• Experience with precision measuring tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive product inspections based on criteria in work instructions, checklists, and drawings.
• Identify non-conforming products and initiate NCRs.
• Ensure there are no active NCRs before completing inspections.
• Apply precision measuring equipment (Calipers, micrometer, gauges, etc.).
• Collaborate with operations to meet departmental goals.
