Job summary

Pilgrim’s in Canton, GA is seeking a dedicated QA Technician to work with Production Supervisors to ensure regulatory, food safety, and customer requirements are met in production areas.

This role requires completing departmental checks, accurate data entry into MYQM, reading and writing in English, and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs. 3rd shift, with weekend work possible. Medical/dental/vision coverage after 60 days, PTO, 401(k) match, and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• QA assessment required and must be passed; evaluates basic math proficiency, calculator skills, reasoning ability, and visual acuity

Responsibilities

• Work directly with Production Supervisors and Managers to ensure compliance with all regulatory, food safety, and customer standards.
• Complete required departmental checks and accurately upload all information into MYQM.
• Communicate effectively with team members across departments.
• Read, write, and understand English to meet documentation and communication requirements.
• Apply strong math skills to perform measurements, calculations, and verification tasks.
• Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Use sound reasoning and judgment to make decisions in real time.
• Work flexible hours as needed to support production demands.
• Perform job duties in cold or hot environments for extended periods.
• Learn and follow HACCP System procedures; successfully pass all required HACCP examinations.
• Lift up to 40 lbs as needed to complete job tasks.
