Job summary

The Coca-Cola Company in Columbus, OH is hiring a Production Technician for the 3rd shift with forklift experience to operate filler, packaging, and box-forming equipment. You will load packages, supply lines with raw materials, check fills and seals, and move containers to storage.

You will record data and maintain sanitation and safety standards on the line. Responsibilities include reworking damaged product, performing basic maintenance, and ensuring compliance with QMS, EMS, SMS, and FSMS.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or preferred.
• 0 - 1 year of General Work Experience
• Prior Warehouse experience useful
• Ability to operate a manual/powered pallet jack or lift product is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate Filler/Packaging/Box-forming/Palletizing Equipment.
• Load packages, containers onto machines.
• Supply line with raw materials needed.
• Check for proper filling, seals, damaged product.
• Move filled containers/packages to storage.
• Record data and number of containers filled.
• Rework product if damaged or waste syrup.
• Wash equipment between flavors and sanitize equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and clear jams on machines as needed.
