Job summary

As a hands-on leader, you will manage workflow, coordinate breaks, troubleshoot issues with Operators, perform quality checks, and communicate key production and staffing updates to the Department Production Manager.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in production or manufacturing.
• Supervisory experience managing 15-20 direct reports preferred.
• Strong knowledge of production operations and workflow management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry systems (SAP or similar ERP systems).
• Demonstrates leadership, communication, and team management skills.

Responsibilities

• Communicate key production, staffing, and quality issues to the Department Production Manager in a timely manner.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
• Lead by example as a hands-on contributor on the production floor.

This role places a strong emphasis on quality control, productivity, and ensuring Packers and Operators remain on task. The Shift Supervisor serves as a hands-on leader, actively supporting production while guiding and developing the hourly team.
