Job summary

Viega Holding GmbH & Co. KG is seeking a Process Technician I for the 3rd shift in McPherson, KS. You will drive machine performance, teach procedures, and train new staff while ensuring quality and safety standards are met across production processes.

The role emphasizes equipment changeovers, monitoring control plans, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to optimize OEE and reduce scrap.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of policies and procedures related to health and safety.
• Ability to follow instructions in written, verbal and diagram form.
• Ability to prioritize and resolve problems.
• Ability to comply with quality system procedures.
• Proficient in MS Office suite.
• Experience with SAP.
• Good organizational skills.
• Ability to work with little supervision.
• Ability to solve problems and make quick decisions.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to team members based on knowledge of processes and equipment.
• Develop, implement and maintain training procedures.
• Train and develop new employees, possibly on other shifts.
• Complete machine changeovers for production runs.
• Monitor machines to ensure production runs meet specifications.
• Relieve operators and assist supervisors as needed.
• Maintain setup records and submit parts for first article inspection.
