Job summary

Shelbyville, IN-based Taylor Corporation is seeking a Press/Print Operating Technician for the 3rd shift. The position offers a full-time role with a 9:00pm–7:00am schedule, and daily pay on day one.

You will run and adjust presses, monitor quality, and maintain production records while upholding safety and efficiency standards. Eligible candidates must have mechanical skills, basic math ability, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Mechanical and technical skills/aptitude.
• Basic math skills to read ruler and calculate label dimensions.
• Ability to operate equipment and meet production quality standards.
• Ability to understand and follow work orders and instructions.
• Professional communication and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Carry out detailed job orders and correct errors promptly.
• Set up/adjust press for job runs to meet specs.
• Monitor product quality and correct discrepancies during runs.
• Monitor machinery and refer to maintenance as needed.
• Initiate startup and run jobs per production schedule.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and upkeep.
• Meet standards for output, waste and spoilage.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace for shift changes.
• Complete logs and paperwork accurately.
