Job summary

Eurostampa North America in Cincinnati is seeking a 3rd shift press helper to support operators on state-of-the-art presses. Responsibilities include mounting plates, pulling tooling, assisting with setup and tear-down, and monitoring ink, paper and fount solutions.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Mount plates and pull/Layout tooling for production orders.
• Support operator with setup and tear-down.
• Operate presses during breaks when needed.
• Monitor ink, paper, and fount solution levels.
• Refill fount solutions, paper, plates, and inks as needed.
• Maintain clean and organized work area and comply with safety rules.
• Record time and production for job costing.
• Meet daily production standards.

The Position:

We are looking to fill a 3rd shift press helper position.

Responsibilities include:

• Mounts plates.
• Pulls and layout tooling for production orders.
• Supports the operator with set-up and tear-down.
• Operates the presses through lunch and break periods when necessary.
• Monitors the ink levels, paper levels, and fount solution.
• Fills ink and dampening solution fountains and adjusts controls to regulate flow of ink and dampening solution to plate cylinder.
• At shift change, check and refill as needed the fount solution, paper, plates, and inks. Make certain that area is clean, empty trash, and empty trace.
• Must work well with others in a team environment.
• Recording of time and production for job costing.
• Ability to meet daily production standards.
• Performs all required preventative maintenance in accordance to production schedule.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area and press.
• Observe company work rules and safety regulations.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Shift hours are:

• 10:30pm-6:30am (3rdshift)

Physical Demands

• Stand for extended periods, up to eight (8) hours per shift.
• Frequently bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive movements required by production tasks.
• Regularly lift, carry, and handle materials or equipment weighing up to fifty (50) pounds.
• Use proper lifting techniques and approved mechanical aids or lifting devices when required.
• Occasionally climb step stools or ladders to access work areas or equipment.
• Frequently push or pull materials, carts, or other heavy items.
• Work in environments with elevated noise levels and exposure to oils, lubricants, chemicals, or other production‑related substances.

Workplace Safety Guidelines

• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements at all times; noncompliance may result in corrective action.
• Participate in all required safety and compliance training and apply training to daily work practices.
• Ensure machine guards, sensors, and safety devices are correctly installed and functioning before operating equipment.
• Immediately report unsafe conditions, equipment concerns, spills, near misses, or incidents to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and hazard‑free work area to support safe operations.
