Responsibilities

• Audit printed and unprinted job stock for print and paper quality.
• Monitor feeder function and sheet registration for sheet fed jobs.
• Audit printed sheets to validate paper thickness and moisture content.
• Check, clean, fill and replace ink in the fountains.
• Record paper roll details and make system documentation for web press jobs.
• Monitor paper rolls and perform splice changes while running.
• Evaluate splice placement and remove damaged paper for web press jobs.
• Handle air bar on paper rolls for web press jobs.
• Monitor coating systems to maintain proper levels.
• Remove completed rolls and weigh/record scrap.
• Use hoist to load/unload paper rolls and transfer skids.
• Complete the daily task list and transfer stock as needed.
• Notify Material Transfer when loads need to move to warehouse or finishing.
• Operate powered industrial trucks after training and certification.
• Transfer inventory in the production system and maintain logs.
• Perform housekeeping tasks around presses and machines.
