Job summary

MicroPort Orthopedics is seeking a Metal Finisher for a third shift (11:00pm-7:30am, Sunday evening-Friday morning) in Arlington, TN. You will operate sandblast and belt lathe machines, read work instructions, and perform quality verification on medical devices, including laser marking and robotic finishing where needed.

The role requires basic blueprint reading, metrology skills, and the ability to work in a detail-oriented, fast-paced environment with strong adherence to company core values.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Basic blueprint reading skills required.
• Basic metrology and measuring skills.
• Ability to operate in an organized work environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate sandblast/glass bead machines to meet quality and production requirements.
• Read and follow work instructions.
• Enter required production data into systems used by MicroPort (e.g., dbh, oee).
• Perform quality verification of medical devices, including non-destructive testing.
• Assist with secondary operations such as laser marking when needed.
