Job summary

Allegiance Industries, Inc. is hiring a 3rd Shift Porter for our manufacturing facility in West Virginia.

You will help maintain clean and safe production areas by sweeping, mopping, taking out trash, restocking restrooms, and assisting with general facility upkeep during a Sunday-Thursday shift from 11 PM to 7 AM. We value reliability, safety awareness, and the ability to follow directions from supervision.

Qualifications

• Physical stamina and dexterity required.
• Ability to detect safety hazards and communicate with appropriate staff.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Ability to follow schedules and keep commitments.
• Ability to follow directions from a supervisor.
• Ability to demonstrate professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Clean buildings by sweeping, vacuuming, mopping floors. and hand mopping
• Gather and empty trash
• Supply, clean and service restrooms and canteens
• Mix various cleaning agents according to specifications
• Move heavy equipment, objects or furniture
• Identify and report possible repairs
• Possible floor work applicable (steam clean carpets, apply wax, buff, etc)
• Other duties as assigned
