Henny Penny Corporation is seeking an Entry Polisher to finish and contour equipment parts to standard in an on-site manufacturing setting in Eaton, OH. You will handle polishing tasks, interpret drawings, and work within Kanban/JDE systems to support production timelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 1–3 years of polishing experience.
• Ability to frequently lift or move objects up to 60 lbs.
• Ability to stand for 8 or more consecutive hours a day.
• Good vision and manual dexterity for polishing work.
• Knowledge of hand and air tools and polishing equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot.
• Understanding Kanban, JDE, BOM viewer, method sheets, etc.

Responsibilities

• Performs color removal (Shot Peen Machine and polishing tools).
• Identifies and repairs basic defects independently.
• Identifies material types and disposes scrap per QA guidance.
• Uses JDE to send Kanban cards and track Kanban status/history.
• Utilizes and maintains drawings, setup sheets and operating instructions.
• Adheres to safety procedures and maintains a clean work area.
• Completes all work within required time with high quality.
• Demonstrates company values and teamwork behaviors.
• Other duties as assigned.
