Job summary

Total Staffing Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Machine Operator for our plastics manufacturing site in West Chicago, IL. The role involves operating production equipment, monitoring the process, and ensuring safety and quality standards.

Shifts are on the 3rd shift with overtime on Saturdays; prior manufacturing experience is preferred but not required. Applicants must be reliable, able to travel to site, and ready to join a fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience is preferred, but NOT required.
• Will learn and be trained on production equipment.
• Must be willing to work 5 days per week with overtime on at least 2 Saturdays per month.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production machinery.
• Load and unload materials as needed.
• Inspect products for quality and defects.
• Make basic adjustments to equipment as trained.
• Follow production, safety, and quality procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Meet production goals and maintain attendance.
• Work as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
