Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous machine operator experience preferred; plastic extrusion equipment experience highly preferred.
• Able to read blueprints and use measuring instruments.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and operate overhead crane and sit-down forklift.
• Must read, write, and perform basic math; follow precise instructions and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Set-up, adjust, program, calibrate and perform preventative maintenance on extrusion equipment.
• Produce material to specification and document production data.
• Utilize quality checks to ensure correct operational sequencing and product standards.
• Implement Lean and Quality Management systems.
• Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures.
