Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking warehouse associates for a local Winston-Salem area company. Roles include pallet inspection and production support on a long-term evaluation-to-hire basis.

We have 3rd shift openings: 6:30pm-5:00am, Monday-Thursday, starting at $14.50/hr with a $0.50 raise after 30 days. General Labor duties cover processing materials, paperwork, inventory accuracy, and safety in the warehouse.

Qualifications

• Must read/understand written and oral instructions in English.
• Basic math ability for weights, volumes and distances.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English one-on-one or in small groups.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as required.
• Team lifting up to 55 lbs and safe warehouse practices.

Responsibilities

• Process materials per documented work instructions.
• Complete all paperwork accurately.
• Maintain warehouse accuracy and report issues affecting inventory counts.

Job description

We are currently seeking a few warehouse associates for a local company in the South East side of Winston/Kernersville. Associates would be inspecting pallets and keeping up with production. This is an evaluation to hire position and the company is looking for long term employees.

We currently have openings for 3rd shift.

Shift hours are:

3rd: 6:30pm-5:00am Monday-Thursday, $14.50/hr

With a .50 cent raise after 30 days

Position Summary

The General Labor position is responsible for processing all materials through the Service Center standard operating procedures. This position ensures all materials leaving the facility are in an acceptable condition and meet the customer specifications.

Key Duties And Responsibilities

• Perform product processing per documented work instructions.
• Accurate completion of all paperwork.
• Maintain warehouse accuracy and report any issues that could affect proper inventory counts.
• Ensures all efforts meet the quality requirements of the customer; reporting any issues immediately.
• Inspect product and prep for shipment.
• Maintain safe and clean work areas throughout the warehouse; must follow all ORBIS safety rules and policies.

Knowledge, Skills, Or Abilities Desired

• Must be able to read/comprehend written and oral instructions in English; read and comprehend safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and product recipes/material identifications
• Must have mathematical skill to add, subtract, multiply and divide and the ability to perform these operations using units of weight measurement, volume, and distance
• Must be able to effectively communicate in English one-on-one and in small group situations
• Must have ability to reason and address problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
