Job summary

RM Palmer Company LLC is seeking a Packer to support manufacturing operations by packing, boxing, and preparing finished chocolate products for shipment while maintaining quality and food safety standards.

This role contributes to a team that ensures our candy arrives to customers looking great and tasting delicious, with weekly pay, three weeks of vacation to start, affordable health benefits, a 401(k) with match, and quarterly bonuses.

Qualifications

• Previous packing experience preferred.
• At least one year of consistent work history.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude and reliability.
• Strong team player who works well with others.

Responsibilities

• Place molded chocolate pieces on trays, separate designs, and refill trays as needed.
• Move trays of chocolates to packaging machines and add bulk supplies when needed.
• Form, seal, and stack boxes for shipping or further processing.
• Pack chocolate pieces and candy trays by hand for the next stage of production.
• Place chocolates into foiling molds, watch packaging lines, and prepare finished boxes.
• Set up boxes, pack bulk candy, and get cartons ready for shipping.
• Fill, wrap, and package chocolate bars or hollow pieces into trays or boxes.
• Insert sticks, wrap pops, and pack them for shipping.
• Clean machines and work areas during downtime or at the end of the shift; follow all sanitation and waste procedures.
• Inspect products to make sure they meet quality and food safety standards.
