Job summary

embecta in Holdrege, NE is seeking a production teammate for the B shift (6:20 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.). This role focuses on safety, quality, and smooth packaging operations in a fast-paced environment.

You will follow safety rules, operate carton erector, check counts and lot numbers, marshal pallets, and keep your area clean. English literacy and basic computer skills are required; reliability and regular attendance are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Basic computer keyboard & navigational skills including Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Follow all company safety rules, regulations and job safety analysis.
• Must know lockout procedures as described in the corporate safety standard 13, plant lockout procedure and key interrupt.
• Fill and operate shelf carton erector and clear minor jams.
• Responsible for quality of product including but not limited to: discarding obviously defective packages, removing and saving contents
• checking packaging for correct count
• checking for damage to syringes
• checking for correct lot control numbers
• inserting brochures as required
• palletizing finished product and attaching proper pallet card
• operating semi-auto tape machine
• performing minor duties not requiring mechanic attention
• Good hand-eye coordination and repetitive hand, wrist and arm movements.
• Keep work area clean. Final clean up at end of shift.
• Regular attendance.
