Job summary

WebstaurantStore Food Service Equipment and Supply Company is seeking a reliable outbound material handler for the 3rd shift at our Cumberland, MD distribution center. This temporary role includes a $3.00/hour bonus for all hours worked and requires W-2 status with no H-1B sponsorship.

Responsibilities include locating and pulling orders, operating forklifts and scanners, and ensuring safe, efficient handling of items to meet daily goals. No degree required and on-site work environment.

Qualifications

• Retrieve items from racking accurately and efficiently using handheld scanners and ERP system, on foot or with forklift.
• Sort and consolidate picked items using handheld scanners for shipment processing.
• Pack products accurately using SPS system, focusing on customer experience.
• Operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, scanners, computers) following safety protocols.
• Meet performance standards for efficiency, accuracy, and quality of work.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Pull items from shelves to fulfill orders and verify accuracy.
• Operate warehouse equipment and follow safety protocols to move goods.
• Prepare orders for shipment and ensure proper packaging.
• Collaborate with team to meet daily and weekly targets.
• Document activities in ERP and communicate issues to supervisors.
