Job summary

Qualifications

  • Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred.
  • Experience operating molding equipment is a plus.
  • Ability to read and understand work instructions and production documentation.
  • Basic math and measurement skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Operate molding machines safely and efficiently according to established procedures.
  • Monitor machine performance throughout production runs.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure compliance with quality specifications.
  • Remove defective products and notify the supervisor or maintenance personnel of equipment or quality issues.
  • Trim, assemble, package, and label finished products as required.
  • Perform routine cleaning of machines and work areas.
  • Record production counts, scrap, downtime, and quality inspection results accurately.
  • Complete required production and quality documentation.
  • Follow all work instructions, operating procedures, and quality standards.
  • Maintain an organized and clean work area in accordance with housekeeping standards.
  • Report equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or production concerns promptly.
  • Work effectively with supervisors, maintenance personnel, quality technicians, and fellow production employees.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Summary

The Molding Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, and maintaining molding machines to produce quality parts in accordance with production schedules, quality standards, and safety requirements. This position ensures efficient machine operation, performs routine inspections, identifies defects, and maintains accurate production records while contributing to a safe and productive work environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Operate molding machines safely and efficiently according to established procedures.

  • May require overtime, weekends, or shift work based on production demands.
