Job summary

Textron's CWC Textron division in Muskegon, MI seeks a Millwright Team Member for maintenance on a fast-paced foundry with a strong safety culture. You will perform plant equipment maintenance, install new machinery, weld and fabricate, and manage daily inspections while rebuilding equipment as needed.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or equivalent and a Journeyman Card or 6 years of practical maintenance experience in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Journeyman Card or 6 years of practical maintenance experience in manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to IATF16949 work instructions.
• Adhere to ISO14001 work instructions and training.
• Read and follow all job related work instructions.
• Observe & follow all safety procedures and guidelines when performing work to avoid injury to self and other employees.
• Daily inspections of plant and machinery including bearings, gear reducers, belts, couplings, and alignment; repair as needed and complete daily checklist.
• Rebuild equipment as needed.
• Maintain shot blasts and associated equipment (Dust Collectors, etc.).
• Make necessary building repairs.
• Install new equipment as needed.
• Fabricate from wood or steel any new or replacement equipment from drawings or instructions.
• Ability to weld, layout work, and torch cutting.
• Provide own tools.
• Repair yard cranes (except electrical).
• Complete rigging tasks.
• Basic computer skills for work orders and entry.
• Obtain forklift/man-lift licenses from safety department.
