Daniels Health & Sharpsmart is hiring a Plant Operator for its Taylor, MI facility. The role involves checking in containers, weighing waste, loading an autoclave, and operating the Washsmart system. You will handle repetitive lifting and paperwork carefully, with an emphasis on safety and accuracy.

The position is full-time, permanent, and night-shift (10:30 PM–7:00 AM) with benefits from day one. A strict background check and drug screen are part of the process, and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Willingness to take a 5 panel urine drug screening
• Willingness to take a 7 year background check
• Basic math and ability to read/record weights accurately
• Familiarity with weighbridge/scale systems
• Comfort with repetitive tasks while maintaining quality standards
• Proven longevity with employers
• Can-do attitude
• Job stability

Responsibilities

• Check in containers and double-check paperwork
• Move/unload specific waste containers
• Operate a forklift to load an autoclave
• Load the Washsmart system (container washing + sanitization)
• Maintain accuracy in weight recording
• Stand for extended periods while wearing PPE
• Work well with a team
