Job summary

Smithfield Foods in Omaha is seeking a Machine Operator to support production of high-quality meat products. You will operate meat cutting and packaging equipment, monitor quality, and collaborate with a team to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient production line.

Candidates should be able to work 3rd shift (10:00 PM–6:00 AM), stand for long periods, and lift or move heavy objects as needed. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to stand for long shifts and perform repetitive movements.
• Ability to work in cold and warm areas and in a noisy environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate meat cutting/packaging machines and related equipment.
• Maintain safe, clean, and efficient production lines.
• Assist coworkers to meet daily production targets and quality standards.
• Follow safety and sanitation protocols and wear PPE.
