Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA Inc. is seeking a Material Handler to load, unload, and move materials, stack finished products, and support all areas of material handling. The role requires reading production worksheets and adhering to GMP, SOP, HACCP, SSOP, and safety policies.

You will rotate through line positions, maintain accurate inventories, and ensure safe, efficient warehouse operations while upholding Saputo's commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Have a working knowledge of the production and plant processes.
• Ability to read and comprehend production worksheets.
• Have basic analytical and numerical skills and the ability to perform mathematical calculations (add, subtract, multiply, divide) in different units of measurement.
• Can communicate effectively and efficiently.
• Is self-motivated, able to multi-task, and can work independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrates professionalism and positively represents Saputo.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads materials and product from trucks.
• Rotates inventory and maintains accurate inventories and required inventory records.
• Transports materials and product from storage or work sites to designated areas.
• Maintains internal warehouse.
• Maintains external warehouse inventories and supplies.
• Completes all shipping and receiving record keeping, tagging, and documentation.
• Utilizes and coordinates warehouse racking and space to maximum efficiency.
• Ability to read and comprehend production worksheets.
