Olympic Steel, Inc. is seeking a Material Handler for the 3rd shift at our Chambersburg, PA facility.

The role involves moving materials on the production floor, staging finished goods, loading trucks, receiving raw materials, and preparing materials for production. You will also handle scrap parts and operate forklift, handheld plasma, and an acetylene torch, with overhead crane and rigging as part of daily tasks.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Forklift experience required.
• Torch/plasma experience preferred.
• Ability to perform basic math and use precision instruments.

Responsibilities

• Move WIP material on the production floor and stage finished goods.
• Load trucks and receive raw materials; prepare materials for production.
• Handle scrap parts and operate forklift, handheld plasma, and torch.
• Work with overhead crane (5 & 10 ton) and rigging as needed.
