Job summary

General Dynamics Electric Boat in North Kingstown, RI seeks Material Service Representatives for 3rd shift to receive, identify, locate and retrieve materials across the facility. You will tally items against receiving docs and prepare them for use in production.

The role requires inventory control experience, proficiency in MS Office and the ability to operate cutting equipment and forklift devices. A valid driver’s license and EB forklift license within 6 months are expected, with safety as a

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent or 2+ years related technical experience.
Minimum 1 year inventory control experience.
Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain EB forklift license within 6 months.
Ability to conduct precise measurements and use tape measure.

Responsibilities

Receive, identify, locate and retrieve materials across the facility.
Tally item types and quantities against receiving reports and packing documents.
Locate materials by size/weight/stock number and palletize securely.
Operate cutting equipment and forklift and use computer-based systems.
