Job summary

Amcor in Minnesota is seeking a 3rd shift assembler to operate light-duty machines, load and package finished products, and conduct on-line quality checks. You will document results and assist with safety and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualified applicants have a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and the stamina to stand and perform repetitive tasks during a late-night shift. Amcor offers a comprehensive benefits package and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate light-duty machines and load, run, package finished product.
• Inspect in-process and final product on-line.
• Follow quality control requirements and special instructions.
• Document production with required checks, lot numbers, and labels.
• Escalate production problems to supervision and set-up staff.
• Maintain safe, clean work environment and wear PPE.
• Record production data in the reporting system.
• Support teamwork and participate in safety and continuous improvement teams.
