Job summary

Menasha Corporation in Lakeville, MN is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 3rd shift to maintain and repair all industrial machinery and equipment in the facility, and to keep buildings and systems in proper order.

The ideal candidate should have mechanical experience in automotive or heavy industry, with boiler experience or a Special Boiler Operator License preferred or willingness to obtain within six months, and must be able to work overtime, weekends, and rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• Safety sensitive position with constant alertness.

• Experience in production environments with moving equipment.
• Ability to read machine part lists, PM manuals, schematics, and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operation of machinery by performing preventive maintenance on engines, motors, and conveyor systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues with production staff.
• Coordinate with contractors and OEMs for repairs.
• Diagnose problems using measurement tools and tests.
• Control downtime with routine maintenance.
• Fabricate repair parts using shop equipment.
• Document actions and communicate needs to the team.
• Use the computer system to document work and track parts.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment per procedures.
