Job summary

Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a 1st Shift MAINTENANCE TECH II in PIEDMONT, SC at a manufacturing facility supporting the automotive industry. Schedule is Monday to Friday, 12 am to 8:30 am.

Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, spare parts management, and responding to equipment calls to minimize downtime. Required: High School or GED; 1 year of maintenance experience. Mechatronics certification is preferred.

• Mechatronics Certification is preferred.
• 1 Year of recent maintenance experience is required.

• Assist with improvement projects as directed by Plant Engineer.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the maintenance shop.
• Serve as 24-hour first responder for after-hour breakdowns.

Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a 1st Shift MAINTENANCE TECH II in PIEDMONT, SC. Our client is a manufacturing facility that supports the automotive industry.

Monday - Friday
12 am - 8:30 am

Responsibilities of a MAINTENANCE TECH II includes:

• Responsible for all plant equipment preventative maintenance.
• Manage spare parts for all machines.
• Responds as needed to waste treatment equipment calls.
• Responds as needed equipment breakdown and repair calls.
• Assist with improvement projects as directed by Plant Engineer.
• Responsible for cleanliness and organization of the maintenance shop.
• Serves as 24 hour first responder for after hour breakdowns (via cell phone).
• Understands how to open and close plant
• Assists in housekeeping/5S activities plant wide as needed.
• Understands maintenances’ importance in supporting WT and production activities.
• Understands RMF lock out/tag out system, confined space entry system and other safety related policies.
• Understands RMF Maintenance Escalation Plan.
• Maintains repair and replacement inventory list.
• Informs Maintenance Team Leader on repair and replacement inventory needs.
• Awareness of the Management System Policy – Posted at production office.
• Awareness of company Quality and Environmental Objectives – Posted at each plating line.
• Awareness of the Significant Environmental Aspects related to your work area and activities.

REQUIRED Experience and Education:

• High School/ GED required
• Mechatronics Certification preferred
• 1 Year of recent maintenance experience

Conducting (drug screening and/or background check) report inquiries may be necessary for employment purposes.
