Job summary

Danfoss in Freeport, IL is seeking a 3rd Shift Machinist to operate and set up conventional, NC, and specialized machines to machine steel and brass parts. Requires a high school diploma or GED, or 1–3 years of relevant training/experience; strong math skills and ability to read safety docs and manuals are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; or 1–3 years of relevant experience and/or training.
• Ability to read safety regulations, operating and maintenance manuals, and procedural guides.
• Proficient in performing arithmetic across units of measure with whole numbers, fractions and decimals.

Responsibilities
