Job summary

Woodward, Inc. in Zeeland, MI is seeking a Machinist I for the 3rd shift (Mon-Fri, 10:00 PM–6:00 AM). You will operate CNC and manual machining equipment (lathes, mills, Swiss, OD/ID grinders) to produce precision metal parts and perform first-piece inspections.

You will follow blueprints, use gages for quality checks, apply 5S at the workstation, and collaborate with teammates to meet safety and production standards. Requires high school diploma or GED and 1+ year machining experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1+ years of Machining experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC or Manual machines (Lathes, Mills, Swiss, OD/ID) to produce precision parts.
• Perform 1st piece inspections and assist in process setup.
• Follow detailed work instructions and interpret blueprints.
• Maintain 5S at the workstation and support lean improvements.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production and safety standards.
