Bradford Company in Holland, MI is seeking a Machine Operator III for the 3rd shift. Set-up and safely operate a variety of machines to cut and slot partitions from roll stock to exact specifications, ensuring quality and efficiency.

You will monitor processes, perform routine maintenance, document production times and cooperate with team members to meet daily goals in a climate-controlled facility. Strong reading, math and English skills are required; a high school diploma or GED is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1–3 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English; ability to write simple correspondence.
• Mathematical skills: add, subtract, multiply, and divide; compute rates and percentages.

Responsibilities

• Set-up and safely operate machines to cut and slot partitions from roll stock.
• Adjust dies, guides, feed, speed, and tension to specifications.
• Recognize operating problems and adjust for stock variations and wear.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and report unsafe conditions.
• Record production times and material produced; monitor quality.
