Job summary

Snap-on is seeking a 3rd shift Machine Operator for on-site work at our Kenosha, WI headquarters. You will operate conventional and CNC equipment, EDM drill systems, and related machining processes to produce quality parts in a safe, efficient manner.

Qualifications include a HS diploma, basic machining knowledge, and ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools. The role requires overtime as needed and a willingness to work in a team environment.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of machining processes.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints including geometric tolerancing.
• Ability to use basic measuring tools.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor machines and manufacturing equipment.
• Perform drilling, cutting, grinding, milling, turning and related operations.
• Load/unload materials and run CNC cycles with basic adjustments.
• Run EDM drill equipment to produce features per specs.
• Read work instructions and verify part dimensions with measuring tools.
• Document production, quality and inspection data accurately.
• Maintain a safe, clean work area and comply with PPE requirements.
• Support troubleshooting and communicate issues to leadership.
• Work as part of a team to meet production demands.
