Job summary

Mondelēz International is seeking a Journeyperson Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance on plant equipment and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime. You will work with the Operations Team to share knowledge and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of manufacturing experience and have completed an approved apprenticeship or training.

Qualifications

• 2+ years manufacturing experience in similar roles.
• Completed Apprenticeship or recognized training.
• Ability to read drawings/blueprints.
• Team-based work with minimal supervision.
• Learn and apply Continuous Improvement tools (IL6S).

Responsibilities

• Repair, replace defective parts and equipment.
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints or sketches.
• Possess knowledge of pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, drives, machining, some electrical work, welding.
• Operate forklifts, manlifts, ladders and scaffolds.
• Collaborate with Operations to improve reliability and productivity.
• Log work in SAP and support system enhancements.
