CARE | Charlotte Animal Referral & Emergency in Charlotte, NC seeks skilled Registered Veterinary Technicians and Assistants for our ICU team. You will deliver high-level nursing care to hospitalized patients, perform venipuncture, IV placements, lab analyses, and anesthesia support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years veterinary technician experience is required.
• RVT preferred but not required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs unassisted.
• Emotionally intelligent with critical thinking.
• Able to safely restrain patients for extended periods and proficient with EMR systems.

CAREis seeking talented Registered Veterinary Technicians and Assistants to join our ICU team! If you enjoy providing a high level of nursing care to your patients and going above and beyond to ensure the comfort, safety, and health of your patients then the ICU is where you belong! ICU technicians are responsible for providing exceptional nursing care for our hospitalized patients. ICU technicians care for all hospitalized specialty and emergency patients which affords you the opportunity to work with all of our specialists and ER veterinarians.

Shifts Available:

• 3rd shiftICU:9pm to 7am
  • Work 7 days/off 7 days
  • $3/shift differential applies
• All schedules offered are full-time and overtime is available.
• As a 24/7 hospital, some holidays and weekends will be required.

Requirements:

• High school degree or equivalent
