Job summary

Munters is seeking a 3rd Shift Run Test Technician in Daleville, VA to test the electrical operation of HVAC units after assembly and to ensure compliance with product specs. The role covers pretest, dry test, and run test protocols, with emphasis on safe procedures and accurate data recording.

Responsibilities include wiring checks, Hi-Pot testing, monitoring pressures, calibrations, and reporting defects.

Qualifications

• Good written and verbal communication skills with basic computer knowledge.
• Ability to read circuit diagrams and schematics for HVAC equipment.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical and refrigeration systems in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Pretest protocols: verify BOM, inspect components, ensure correct wiring and safety interlocks.
• Dry test: perform ground checks, high voltage phasing, Hi-Pot tests, and operation checks.
• Run test: verify blower/fan operation, record data, adjust as per specs, document outcomes.
• Troubleshoot failed units and report defects; complete QC run test documents.
