Xanitos, Inc. is hiring full-time Environmental Service Hospital Housekeepers for 3rd shift (10pm–6:30am) at Parkview Community Hospital Medical Center in Riverside, CA.

The role supports cleaning and maintaining patient areas across a health care campus, with duties including room cleaning, dusting, trash removal, and restocking supplies. Eligible applicants should be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and able to meet physical demands, with a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition of employment.
• Experience in the janitorial industry is a plus.
• Medical cleaning experience is a plus.
• Post-Offer Medical, Background Screening and Drug Test required.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
• Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
• Sweeps and/or vacuums floors.
• Dusts furniture and equipment.
• Polishes metalwork.
• Washes walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, doors, and sills.
• Transports trash and waste to disposal area and replenishes bathroom supplies.
• Transports small equipment or tools between departments.

• Second shift: 10pm to 6:30am

Job Overview:

The Environmental Service Hospital Housekeepers may work in any location on client premises. This individual cleans and keeps in an orderly condition facilities or locations in a health care campus. The general responsibilities of the position include those listed below, but Xanitos may identify other responsibilities of the position. These responsibilities may differ among accounts, depending on business necessities, client requirements and applicable industry standards.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.

Job Qualifications:

• Successful applicants for this position must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition of employment.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time. Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.

Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus, with or without corrective lenses. Possible exposure to chemicals requiring special clothing or safety equipment.

The expected hourly rate for this position ranges from $23.00, depending on circumstances including an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, training, market data, and other relevant factors.
