Job summary

Penflex is hiring a full-time hose tester for 3rd shift at our Gilbertsville, PA headquarters. You will read blueprints, select testing methods and pressures, and perform leak testing to ensure our piping products meet quality standards.

This role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, adherence to safety guidelines, and collaboration with the Quality Engineer to drive process improvements in the Corrugation Department; training on first shift lasts 10–12 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints to determine testing methods and pressures required.
• Perform required testing methods to locate leaks.
• Strive for continuous improvement of processes in the Corrugation Department.
• Assist Quality Engineer in developing and implementing process improvements.
• Able to lift 50 pounds.
• Adhere to Penflex Corporation safety guidelines at all times.
