Job summary

Tyson Foods – Vicksburg Plant seeks a General Production Laborer for the 3rd shift to support processing, packaging, and material handling. You'll help with product flow, quality checks, and line support in a fresh-food environment. Safety, food-safety, and PPE adherence are required.

The role requires physical ability and willingness to perform varied tasks; prior production experience is preferred. Benefits and company policies apply.

Qualifications

• Prior manufacturing, production, or general labor experience preferred.
• Experience in food manufacturing or fresh plant operations a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned production tasks to support processing, packaging, and material handling operations.
• Assist with product handling, sorting, stacking, and staging as required.
• Maintain continuous product flow to prevent downtime or congestion.
• Monitor product for quality defects and report concerns promptly.
• Assist line operators with setup, changeovers, and general line support.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, tools, and equipment.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and supervisor instructions.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, hygiene, and allergen control requirements.
• Comply with OSHA regulations and Tyson safety policies.
• Use required PPE and follow safe work practices.
