QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS and/or EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma preferred; prior warehouse experience plus warehouse mobile equipment operating experience preferred. Must be able to be certified to operatewarehouse mobile equipment such as forklift and pallet jack. Basic required competencies:Conscientiousness, detail oriented, safety minded, self motivated to achieve, high initiative, ability to work with limited supervision, team oriented, learning and applying information, ability to follow instructions in English (both written and verbal).

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read and speak fluent English.Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, procedure manuals.Ability to write routine reports and correspondence relating to position.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to calculate figures and apply concepts of basic math and algebra.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.Posses the ability to work with coworkers and gain mutual respect with a common goal of increasing sales and profitability.

Indoors, with adequate cooling, heating, and adequate lighting.Outdoors as needed.Working in warehouse environment with moderate noise due to industrial mobile equipment operation and varied temperatures based on assigned work area.Temperatures will vary based on outside temperatures for the non-air-conditioned section and cool temperatures ranging from -15 to the upper 40's for the perishable sections.
