Abbott in Altavista, VA is seeking a Material Handler / Forklift for the 3rd shift. You will operate forklifts to unload raw materials, verify quantities, and stage materials for production while maintaining accurate inventory transactions and compliance with FDA/OSHA standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least two years of forklift experience, with knowledge of MITS/AMAPS and MS Office.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of two years forklift experience.
• Knowledge of inventory control systems: MITS, AMAPS, and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Operate a forklift or other material handling equipment to unload and receive raw materials.
• Accurately count and verify all raw materials prior to unloading.
• Pull and stage all raw materials needed for production.
• Ensure inventory transactions are accurate and that the MITS matches physical materials.
• Assist with cycle counting for all materials and complete InterPlant Transfers (IPT).
