Seneca Foods Corporation in Rochester, MN is seeking a 3rd Shift Maintenance Mechanic to join our Freezer Warehouse and Production team. This is an hourly union position with a starting wage of $30.68 per hour.

Assigned mechanical duties include maintaining and repairing food processing equipment, performing overhauls during non-production periods, and ensuring production goals are met. Familiarity with GMPs and safety rules is required.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and replace crop harvesting, vegetable processing, and/or label line equipment to meet specifications and regulations.
• Maintenance of other areas as directed.
• Read sketches and blueprints to determine layout of assigned work.
• Design, fabricate, weld, and install equipment as required.
• Monitor equipment operation and make any necessary adjustments.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and PM completed.
• Appropriate budget planning and maintenance of cost control over equipment.
• Employee relations.
• Ensure that GMPs, company policies, safety rules, and regulations are followed and enforced. -- Other duties as assigned.
