Job summary

Our Client in the United States seeks an Electrician’s Helper for 3rd shift to support licensed electricians in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in an industrial setting.

The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and minimal daytime disruption, with opportunities for advancement into electrician or maintenance technician roles and access to an electrical apprenticeship program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience in electrical, maintenance, construction, or related field preferred.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems and tools.
• Ability to read and interpret basic diagrams or instructions (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assist electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, wiring, fixtures, and equipment.
• Gather tools, materials, and supplies required for work assignments.
• Follow blueprints, schematics, and verbal instructions from electricians.
• Perform basic tasks such as pulling wire, drilling holes, cutting conduit, and mounting components.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of tools and materials.
• Support troubleshooting of electrical issues and help identify faulty components.
• Participate in preventative maintenance activities during overnight downtime.
• Adhere to all safety regulations, including lockout/tagout procedures and PPE requirements.
• Operate basic hand tools and power tools safely.
• Assist in documenting completed work and reporting issues.
